AI video analytics for manufacturing and industrial plants
For plant managers, HSE leads and security heads who already have CCTV across the floor, yards and gates, but still rely on someone replaying footage after something happens. Eye AI runs on a computer at your plant and reads the camera streams you already have. It logs who or what entered a hazard area, counts what crosses your lines, and keeps a snapshot for every event, so your team works from evidence instead of memory.
What goes wrong on sites like yours
Someone walks into a hazard or equipment area and nobody knows until a supervisor happens to see it.
Vehicles and trolleys share routes with people, and nobody has a record of how often.
Cameras record, but reviewing a shift of footage for one incident takes hours.
A camera goes offline and no one notices until the footage is needed.
Audits ask for proof of controls and the answer is verbal.
What Eye AI does here
| Analytic | What it does on your site | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Restricted-area alerts | Logs entry into areas you mark, such as hazard or equipment zones, with snapshot and time | Live |
| Line crossing and counting | Counts people and vehicles in and out at gates and floor entrances | Live |
| Vehicle zone control | Logs vehicles entering walkways or zones where they should not be | Live |
| Nothing-is-silent safety net | Shows movement the AI could not name, with a snapshot | Live |
| Stream health | Records whether each camera was actually working, minute by minute | Live |
| Event history and reports | Searchable history with CSV export | Live |
| PPE compliance | Helmet and vest checks in defined areas | Launching with pilot partners |
| Forklift and pedestrian safety | Distance warnings between forklifts and people | Launching with pilot partners |
| Blocked exits and fire routes | Flags objects left in exit zones | Launching with pilot partners |
A day on your kind of site
Picture a mid-sized plant with a floor entrance, a loading gate and a press area. The HSE manager marks the press area as restricted and draws counting lines at the floor entrance and gate. During the shift, two contractors step into the press zone; each entry is logged with a snapshot and time. At the gate, the line counts vehicles and people by direction. The safety net shows unidentified movement near a side door and the guard reviews the snapshot. Next morning, the manager opens the day-by-hour grid, filters to the press zone, and exports a CSV for the weekly safety meeting.
Reports and evidence you get
- Zone-entry events with snapshot, time and zone name
- In and out counts by hour, day and gate
- CSV export for audits and meetings
- Camera uptime history, so you can show the system was watching
Why existing cameras matter here
Plants already have cameras on gates, floors and yards, often installed over years. Eye AI uses those streams through one on-site computer, so there is no camera replacement and video stays on your network.
Honest limits for this industry
- Trolleys, carts and specialist machinery are not recognised as their own object types and may be missed or mislabelled.
- Dust, steam, glare from welding and low light reduce accuracy; far or small objects can be missed.
- Workers partly hidden behind machinery or each other may be missed or merged.
- Time-of-day schedules (alert only after hours) are not available yet.
- The launching analytics above are in pilot; we do not offer them as available today.
Questions
Can it work with the cameras we already have?
If they provide a standard network video stream, usually yes. The free camera-readiness check tells you for sure.
Does video leave the plant?
No. It is processed on your site computer.
Does it check helmets and vests today?
Not yet. PPE is launching with pilot partners.
How do we know a camera was working?
Stream health records every minute.
