AI video analytics for construction sites

For site managers, safety officers and contractors who already have cameras on the gate, yard and work fronts. Eye AI runs on a computer in your site office, reads those camera streams and logs entries into hazard zones, counts people and vehicles at the gate and keeps a snapshot and time for every event. It adds measurable records to cameras that today only record.

What goes wrong on sites like yours

People step into excavations, crane areas or exclusion zones with no record.

Trucks arrive and leave all day and the gate log is a notebook.

Material yards lose stock and nobody can say who was there.

Site layouts change weekly, so fixed camera setups go stale.

After an incident, finding the relevant footage takes a long manual search.

A day on your kind of site

Consider a mid-rise build with one site gate, a material yard and an excavation edge. The safety officer marks the excavation edge and the yard as restricted zones, and draws a counting line across the gate. Through the day, the history fills with trucks in and out by hour. A worker steps into the excavation zone; the entry is logged with a snapshot and time, and the safety officer reviews it at the afternoon briefing. In the evening, the safety net shows unidentified movement near the yard fence. The officer opens the snapshot, labels it, and moves on. At week end, the manager exports a CSV of gate counts for the client report.

Reports and evidence you get

  • Hazard-zone entry events with snapshot and time
  • Gate counts by hour and day, people and vehicles
  • Searchable history, filterable by zone
  • CSV export for progress and safety reports
  • Camera uptime history

Why existing cameras matter here

Sites already put up cameras for security. Eye AI reuses those streams through one on-site computer, so there is nothing new to mount on a scaffold, and video stays on the site network.

Honest limits for this industry

  • Excavators, cranes and other machinery are not recognised as their own types and may be missed or mislabelled.
  • Dust, rain, glare and uneven lighting reduce accuracy; far or small objects can be missed.
  • Workers in similar clothing, or partly behind materials, may be merged or missed.
  • Cameras on moving tower mounts or changing views need zones redrawn.
  • PPE is the most requested check on sites; it is launching with pilot partners and not available today.

Questions

Does it check hard hats today?

No. PPE is launching with pilot partners.

Can it work on temporary cameras?

If they give a network video stream and stay put, yes. Zones need redrawing if the view moves.

Can it show who entered a zone?

It logs that a person entered, with a snapshot. It does not identify people.

Is video sent to the cloud?

No. It is processed on your site computer.
