Searchable CCTV event history: find any event and export it

Every detection Eye AI makes is stored with its time, zone, object type, colour and a snapshot. Event history lets you search all of it, see the day laid out hour by hour, and export to CSV. It is for security, operations and safety teams who answer the question "what happened, and when?" and for managers who need clean numbers for a report.

ILLUSTRATION WITH SAMPLE DATA

The problem

Finding one event means scrubbing through hours of recorded video.

Management wants weekly numbers, and someone rebuilds them by hand from notes.

Audits and disputes need a dated record, and "we think it was around lunchtime" is not one.

How it works

  1. Events are saved as they happen.Counts, zone entries, vehicle visits and possible misses each get a record with a snapshot.
  2. Open the dashboard. It is password-protected and reached from inside your network.
  3. Narrow it down.Filter by date, hour, zone or type until you reach the moment you need.
  4. Export.Download the filtered list as a CSV file for a spreadsheet, a report or an audit folder.

What you get

  • Filterable history. Search by date, hour, zone, object type and colour, then open the snapshot.
  • Day-by-hour grid. One picture of the whole day shows busy hours, quiet hours and unusual spikes at a glance.
  • CSV export. Clean rows ready for management reports, safety meetings or an auditor.
  • Evidence in one place. Counts from line crossing, entries from restricted-area alerts, visits from parking and dwell and possible misses from the safety net all sit in the same history.

Where it is used

Honest limits

  • Each event has one snapshot today. Automatic short video clips per event are on the roadmap and are not available.
  • History holds what Eye AI detected. If something was missed, it is not in the list, though the safety net may show it as a possible miss.
  • Records are only as good as the camera view. Night, distance, glare and blocked views reduce what is detected.
  • Retention depends on the storage of your on-site computer. Records are kept encrypted on that computer and we agree the details with you.
  • Reports are CSV exports and the dashboard views. Scheduled emailed reports and a dashboard across multiple sites are not available.
  • Access is limited to people on your network with the password. Who gets a login is your decision.

Questions about event history and reports

What can I filter by?

Date, hour, zone and object type. You can then open the snapshot for each event.

Can I get my data into Excel?

Yes. Export any filtered view to CSV and open it in a spreadsheet.

Is there a video clip for each event?

Not yet. Each event has a snapshot. Short clips per event are on the roadmap.

Who can see the history?

People you give the password to, on your network. Video and data stay on your site.

Can I see several sites together?

Not today. Multi-site dashboards are not available.
