AI video analytics for schools and campuses, using the cameras already installed
Schools and universities have gates, labs, boundary walls and car parks, and a lot of cameras. Eye AI turns that footage into counts and records: people and vehicles through each gate, entry into restricted areas such as labs and staff rooms, and a searchable history. Your video is processed on a computer on campus, and Eye AI does not identify individuals or take attendance.
What goes wrong on sites like yours
Gates are busy at the start and end of the day, but there are no counts to plan staffing.
Labs, offices and storerooms are restricted, yet entry is rarely recorded.
Finding a specific moment after an incident means scrubbing recordings.
What Eye AI does here
| Analytic | What it does on your site | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Line crossing and counting | Counts people and vehicles at each gate, by direction and hour | Live |
| Restricted-area alerts | Logs entry into labs, staff rooms and storerooms, with a picture | Live |
| Parking and dwell time | Times vehicles in the car park and labels them parked or passing | Live |
| Event history and reports | Searchable history with CSV export for the administration | Live |
| Loitering detection | Flags someone staying unusually long near a gate or boundary wall | Beta |
| Blocked exits and fire routes | Checks that exits and stairwells stay clear | Launching with pilot partners |
A day on your kind of site
At 7:30 the gate counts climb as vehicles and pedestrians arrive. A storeroom door is opened during a lesson and the restricted-area log records it with a picture. Near the boundary wall, someone stays for several minutes and the loitering log (beta) notes it. At the end of the week, the administrator exports the gate counts to plan staffing.
Reports and evidence you get
- Gate counts by hour and by day
- Restricted-area entry records with pictures
- Car park visit times
Why existing cameras matter here
Campuses already have cameras at gates and corridors. Eye AI works with them, and your video stays on campus.
Honest limits for this industry
- Eye AI does not identify students or staff and does not take attendance.
- Large crowds at gate times can hide people behind others; we check each view during the survey.
- Loitering and groups are beta features still being validated on real footage.
Questions
Can it take attendance?
No. Eye AI does not identify individuals. It counts people through a gate.
Does it recognise students?
No. It counts and logs events. It does not identify people.
Can it tell students from visitors?
No. It counts people, not who they are.
Where is the video processed?
On a computer on your campus, not in a cloud.
